Info Barrel First Week Update

Mo Money Mo Money!

In the first two days of my article How to be Lucky in Life going live on Info barrel, it earned 101 views! That is huge for just two days.

To give you an indication of how huge this is; this was my number two highest earner on eHow. It recieved 721 views over 6 months. That averages out to 120 views per month.

If the same article has received 107 views in just two days, I am very optimistic about the next three weeks. This means that Info Barrel articles may have more views than eHow or Hubpages and since Info Barrel pays 75-90% of Google AdSense income to your articles, more views is exactly what I want. I will keep you posted.

This article hasn't earned anything yet (Google needs a couple of weeks to index) so I will keep you posted.

Oh Laawwd! I think I'm in Love! GREEN HOSTING!

Oh Laaawwwd! I think I’m in love. I just signed up for a Hostgator Green Hosting account after much research and this is my 7th hosting agreement in 6 years.

They are the first ones to give me a welcome get started email that I actually understand! Then they have a FAQ page that answers 100% of my most burning web questions in clear concise English. Questions like: “What is the difference between parked, add-on, and sub domains?” and “Steps to making a form on your website where people can email you information (form mail)”.

That’s not all, Hostgator offers REAL phone support. I chose them over Dream Host because they had almost 100% positive feedback in all logs and Google groups and the clincher was that Dream Host offered phone support as an extra service for $9.99 per month! I though this to be nervy move. How dare they sell me service and then want to charge me for talking to a human being if I have any problems with it! What kind of world is it when customer service is an “extra”?

Hostgator offers unlimited tech support included in their low priced webhosting.

This may sound silly to some of you but the truth is I am no Internet virtuoso. Things can and will go wrong and Real people customer support is my biggest peeve with all other hosting accounts I’ve tried. Yahoo, Hurricane Electric (they were excellent with people support but charged me extra fees every month without my consent for spikes in traffic), Go Daddy (is just too big) and has gotten very complicated over the years. Plus they charge you for every freaking thing. Blue Host has snippy customer service weird rules and they don’t keep their word about usage guidelines and Zoovy just plain sucked.

I am so glad I went with Hostgator. I even found coupons all over the web for their service too. By using the word “GREEN” I got 20% of the 1st year of my “baby” (Beginners) account!

It’s the new moon and already I feel off to a great start!

InfoBarrel vs. eHow

More money and Better Treatment at InfoBarrel

Well Friends,

eHow is going down the drain. There is no better way to say it. The payment practices have always been questionable. I put up with it as long as I could place links to other stuff in the resource box of my articles and... until something better came a long.

Well, InfoBarrel has come along and it is definitely something better. Although InfoBarrel does not pay for page views, sources say that they are receiving an average payout of $10 -$15 per 1000 page views. The folks at InfoBarrel share 75- 90% of the Google ads and Chitika revenue with you! This means I can finally start to cash in on the real money my articles have been making for sites like eHow. And I know for a fact that eHow makes at least $10 per month on my highest earning articles. In 6 months I haven't earned a whole $10 on any of those.

With 29 (now 20 thanks to the Ehow's rude article sweeps) and 21,000 views. I would have earned at least $200 in the last 6 months instead of just $60. I'm talking about 20 articles folks, what would happen with 100? I'll tell you what, i could have earned over 5x mor money with 5x more articles. That's one thousand dollars in 6 months! How's that for incentive to keep writing?

My math is pretty general but, you get the idea.

AND most importantly, I get my dignity back, by deleting my own articles from eHow for a change. I'm tired of being treated like an idiot by the folks at eHow, Infobarrel must accept your first 10 articles before you can post freely and they don't take your articles down after they've been accepted!

After that all your articles are automatically accepted. That means a lot less junky articles to compete against yours. Oh and they also have less than 5000 writers right now. Unbelievable. Here's a chance to get in in the beginning.

They only accept articles that are not up on other sites so that means good by eHow articles.

Also best of all, Infobarrel treats writers with respect. They recognize that writers are the foundation of their business. Everything is out in the open. You even get paid by Google directly! So no Shady Sadie over there!

Check out InfoBarrel, you'll be glad you did. They are the best thing since sliced bread.

Sign up right away because it will take a couple of days to check out everything, add your Google Ads and Chitika accounts and get you first 10 articles approved. Then you will really get rolling.

There are a whole lot more advantages to switching. These are just a few. I'll write more and keep you updated on this blog.

This is no joke friends, you may have noticed that I haven't been around eHow for a few months- I was searching for a better way. Info Barrel is that better way. And yes, they beat the pants off of Hubpages too!

I'll be switching over completely in the next few days. Hope to see you there!
